The Loire Valley—a Living Fairy Tale

It was an honor and a privilege to shepherd lovely Paola and sweet Ellie around the magical Loire Valley for ten days! Here are some of the quotes I gathered from them last April during our travels together: 

"Everything was so different and so special." 

"We were able to take our time for each activity."

"The flower arranging was number one!"

"The watercolor painting class was so interesting."

"Oh that spa—I could've stayed there all day!"

From our first stop touring Napoleon's château to our last day flower arranging at Catherine de Medici's château, we three gals thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I showed them around petite villages with lively markets, drove them to a few caves in order to sample regional varietal wines (usually bubbles were the fave), and nudged them toward a few special dinners of their own. Along the way, Ellie matched with her college roommate, bought a prom dress, and discovered that her level 5 French was, in fact, quite good.
