Not everyone will need a host on-site, but how do you even start to plan a trip to France? How do you pick which area to go? How will you get there? When will you go? Where will you stay? What should you see? What should you eat, and where? Will you need a car? Do you have a thousand questions? If you are in need of some practical advice, read on -

• I know how to select the right area in town or countryside for your lodging needs.

• I have planned vacations for mixed-age groups of people, and I can help you find the right activities for the different types of traveling companions. 

• I give recommendations and advice based on your preferences, your wants, and your needs, not because I have relationships with companies or groups. I am an independent consultant which means that my focus is on giving you the best experience (so that you'll give me repeat business and referrals)!

Here's the thing: I actually enjoy spending hours digging into French travel sites, reading travel books, and listening to experts! I have fallen down many a deep rabbit hole on the internet; I would love to plan your trip!

You can hire me to answer questions for you, at the hourly rate. 

Or, if you are looking for itinerary planning, we would have a free one hour consultation meeting, and then I would get to work, at the hourly rate. Usually how it goes is like this:

1. After our meeting, I'll start on Phase 1—FEASIBILITY. I'll quickly match up the time you plan to spend in France with your wants and needs, answering the question: is it possible to do all the things you want in the amount of time and budget you have? This will take a couple of hours.

2. I'll send that back to you and if you like what you see, I'll move on to Phase 2—PLANNING. I'll get it all organized into days with specific times, generate restaurant recommendations, and provide guidelines for transportation. I'll create a nice handy document for you; this phase will take a few more hours.

3. If you would like, I can move to Phase 3—EXECUTION. I can make reservations, procure tickets, and book tours and private transfers. This is the most time intensive phase, as it can be back-and-forth with guides, entering in all data for reservations, etc.
